SUCCESS STORY of a guy from the WA team

It all started way back in 2008 February when my wife published an article about "Top 10 Valentines Day Shopping Sites". She selected 10 random merchants from ShareaSale.com and linked to their website. At the end of the month I had nice $6000 or so affiliate commission on my account!

Repeating the unexpected success formula:
I was surprised by unexpected income and started to build dedicated sites for these types of seasonal shopping craze. Though my "seasonal niche" results are not jaw-dropping, it's really fantastic. Just dedicate 2-3 days building and promoting these sites and earn nice 4 figures without much effort!
Yet another Stupid List Success!

Now guess what? This list is getting more than 500 unique visitors daily! And most importantly this article is responsible for selling over $60,000 of Amazon.com merchandises! I have earned around $2300 commission from Amazon.com (Amazon pays lowest percentage of commission in the industry!)
Why I'm telling all these to you? Why I'm showing my live money making pages?
Simple....just duplicate what I have done. Even if all the WA members created a similar list it's not a threat to me at all...because Amazon.com is so HUGE....it's like Ocean. There are millions of products to promote...
...and there are 1000's "top 10..." kind of list you can possibly create

Where to publish it?
If you have your own website with "generic domain name" like ReviewBoss.com it's great. Else take advantage of free Web2.0 properties like Squidoo, Hubpages, Blogspot.com, wetpaint, webs.com
SEO & Getting Fast Result:
Point 1: Whatever you do always make sure that your article contains the keyword "xmas 2009" or "2009 Christmas" like,
- Top 10 electronics gadgets for 2009 xmas
- Top 10 costumes for Xmas 2009
Google shows lots of love to these seasonal and time specific topics... and you'll get traffic.
Point 2: SPAM social bookmarking site like crazy!
If you want to get instant traffic you must bookmark your pages at "Kaboodle.com & JumpTags.com... there are dozens of others like Digg, Stumble, Propeller, spotback.com etc. Submit to as many as possible.
Point 3: Write couple of decent articles and submit to Goarticles.com ...Yes, you can submit to Ezinearticles.com ...but if you have a basic account it will take 7-10 days to have it approved.
Point 4: If possible write and submit free Press releases. Also submit short blurbs to USfreeads, Craigslist with link back to your pages
Few things you should know about Amazon Associate Program:
Obviously, you need Amazon Associate ID. If you are not an affiliate already you can still apply for it. Goto https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/
They approve almost all affiliate application. However, to be on safer side, follow these steps when you apply.
Don't use free emails like email@gmail.com Instead use email@mywebsitename.com . Though having a website is optional I highly recommend that you put your website name in the application.
If you are from UK, France or Germany you can apply for their international affiliate program.(anyone from anywhere can apply for amazon's international affiliate program)
How Amazon Pays:
Unlike other affiliate programs Amazon's affiliate cookie expires after 24 hours. So within 24 hours if your visitor buys something you'll get commission. On more than 50% instances people don't buy the product they initially clicked for. This is very common with Amazon. (I just couldn't believe that people who clicked for "electronic gadgets" bought stuffs like Hair-pin, Rubber-band, Pencil etc!) Amazon is really amazing and amusing!
What is your job?
Your job is to send as many visitors as possible to Amazon.com through your affiliate link. If you send 1000 visitors, around 80-100 people buy some stuffs there... that's pretty good conversion rate if you consider 1% industry standard. But the problem is you never know what they end up buying.
If you send a visitor for $500 Nintendo Wii they will end up purchasing $4 hair-pin which pays you massive 16 cents (yes, sixteen cents - sometimes adsense pays more!) commission.
On the other hand, if you send a visitor to buy Harry Potters Book, they would end up purchasing the new $400 Kindle which pays nice $40 commission. You really can't predict what people buy from Amazon!
So, as I said earlier, simply send traffic to Amazon; Amazon does the rest!
Now take action!

If you want to make money then you have to work hard. Back in 2004, when I started online marketing I used to work 18 hours a day...7 days a week...
There is still more than 15 days left before Xmas. If you can create at least 10 of those "10 things list" and followed my guide then there is really no reason why you can't make at-least $1500

New year & Valentines Day is coming...
Earn full time income by dominating seasonal niches; keep selling real products to real people.
